Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery (CRAR)
This service is provided at NO COST to Landlords. Our team of certified enforcement agents can attend commercial premises to collect your rent arrears in accordance with the Tribunal Courts and Enforcement ACT 2007. Always acting with discretion and professionalism.
If you have a Commercial Tenant that is in rent arrears, but you wish them to remain in the property, then we will arrange for our certified agents to attend the demised premises. Acting in accordance with the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act they are able to seize, remove, and sell goods in order to recover the rent arrears in the event of non-payment.
Alternatively, acting on your instructions Cornwall Bailiffs will negotiate a short term repayment agreement with the Tenant to recover the full arrears, leaving the seized goods in the property but under our full legal control. Whilst there are any rent arrears outstanding, the agents can re‐attend to remove goods in the event of this agreement breaking down. We are aware that the future relationship between landlord and tenant should be protected wherever possible. Cornwall Bailiffs always ensure that in the delivery of our Commercial Rent Recovery services our agents remain sensitive to the tenant’s situation yet mindful of the client’s needs. We will always act on the instructions set by you to ensure not only payment but that your long term requirements are met.
In addition to this service which is FREE, Cornwall Bailiffs offer the collection of insurance and associated service charges at NO COST when we are simultaneously instructed under CRAR to collect rent arrears.
